Marcus Dorris

After graduating from the University of Memphis, Marcus quickly understood that working in Corporate America was not for him.

He got involved with a few organizations and became one of the youngest people to be named business man of the year by the Memphis BNI chapter.

He also formed Empire Mortgage, and has overseen as much as 3 million dollars in home loans throughout the city of Memphis.

He is now the CFO of the only black owned veterinarian clinics in Memphis. Pope Animal Clinic is located at 6920 Winchester Road in Memphis, TN.

Marcus also oversees the operations of Pet's Choice Animal Clinic, the only 24 hour animal clinic that is 100 percent black owned. He is also a proud member of Masonic Lodge Eureka # 3 and is a member of Memphis' "Who's Who".

Mix and Mingle Entertainment was originally formed so that different business leaders like himself would have a place to network with each other on a bi-monthly basis without the worries and hassles that most clubs in Memphis have.

Dr. Greg Shaw Jr.

Dr. Greg Shaw graduated from Tuskegee University with a Bachelor Degree in Animal Science.

He later went to Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) . Dr. Shaw is also a member of Omega Psi Phi, Epsilon Phi Chapter.

He joined the Mix and Mingle movement as a way to get exposure throughout the city as being one of a very small number of minority Vets in Memphis metropolitan area..
